Sinopec Lubricants 2017 CTCC debut appearance in Wuhan Street Circuit on 10th-12th November had brought this season to another level of excitement. This is the first time going back to a street race since 2015, and also the second time this season to visit a brand new track. Changan Ford Racing Team will be giving all out in the last two races in the season, and looking forward to gaining more points to defend their overall champion.

This circuit is located at Wuhan Sport Center, with a total length of 2.4km and 14 corners and running in counter-clockwise. Comparing to Yancheng street circuit, Wuhan is more challenging and dangerous, especially in such intense race series.

After the car testing sessions, Martin Cao who is now ranking on 2nd expressed that, “Dust is everywhere on the circuit in the morning and it becomes cleaner after two sessions and is more ideal to do the time attack. Qualifying a good time is more important for the street circuit because there are not a lot of overtaking spots. With consideration to the remaining rounds, I will do my best to defend my position in the drivers’ table and I believe other drivers will not act too dangerous here. A long left in T9 will be critical and bumpy circuit will be the biggest challenge to all the drivers.”

Changan Ford Racing Team will continue to have the same roster with Rainey He, Andy Yan, Martin Cao and Zhang Da Sheng. From the situation in the practice session, the race will be predicted intensive. Narrow roads will bring unstable circumstances so qualifying result will be very important. Due to the fact, Changan Ford Racing Team will be having a special setting for all the cars.

The qualifying session and Race 1 will be starting on Saturday and we are looking forward to seeing the performance of our four great drivers.
