Upon finished his first season in AFR, KRC driver, Stephen Hong decided to take the advantage of the timing before teams entering winter maintenance period. Stepping into a Formula 3 championship car, entering one round of All-Japan Formula Three Championship, making debut at Sportsland SUGO with team KRC.

This decision came by as a surprise for everyone at team KRC, but after a quick chat we fully supported his decision and very pleased to see Stephen to take up this challenge. “This year I made my debut at AFR, I accomplished the goal set out to be, finished up on podium. AFR has proven to be a good training ground for drivers, very compeptetive field. I will keep up my training in the winter and the experience I’ve gained through this season will be valuable when I move into the faster Formula 3 machine.”
