CTCC Round 6 at the rain soaked Ningbo International Circuit has come to an end last week.
The double header races had been separated into two days and the battle between manufacturers were as fierce as usual. Due to recent success, CTCC has given a Balance of Performance adjustment (Turbo Boost Reduction) to Changan Ford Racing Team, adding to the already taxing weekend of learning a new circuit in ever changing weather condition even more challenging.
Through tireless effort by the whole group, the Changan Ford Racing Team left Ningbo with precious manufacture points, keeping their dream of repeat championships alive.
In this round, Zhang Da Sheng return from a long lay off from touring car racing to rejoin the team to race in the new circuit. As for the performance of three-time CTCC driver champion Andy Yan in the second round, Yan came out on top as the highest finishers among all the Chinese drivers in the entire field while his three teammates all scored top 10 finishes.
The team will now prepare for the next round and aiming to defend the team championship.
