HK drivers Hugo Hung and Ben Chui are selected to compete in SRGP Final Round

FRD received an invitation from Federation of Automobile and Motorcycle Sports of Guangdong and GBA Sim Racing Grand Prix Committee, to select two HK drivers from RS Asia eRacing Series, who are willing to quarantine 14 days, to compete in the Final Round of GBA Sim Racing Grand Prix in Macau on 16-19 December.
RS Asia eRacing is a new Series launched in 2020, supported by Renault Sport, consistent with the real Series which includes Formula Renault and Clio Cup. The Opening season started in May, attracted more than 100 fans from HK, Macau, Taiwan, Mainland China, as well as other countries such as Philippine, Singapore, Canada and Australia. The first season ended in July. Winter Season is scheduled for November to January 2021, this season is supported by Cyberport Hongkong, comprising with 3 rounds 6 races. The first round was successfully held on 27 November, the second and third round is scheduled on 11 December and 8 January.
The
two HK drivers, Hugo Hung and Ben Chui, are selected from RS Asia eRacing
Series, HKAA will issue an official sim racing license to them for attending
the GBA Sim Racing Grand Prix Final Round. Hugo Hung is a professional driver,
he crowned the championship of Asian Formula Renault Series Master Class, and
participated in the FIA Motorsport Game in 2019 to compete in the Formula 4
Cup. He was previously joined the Formula Renault eRacing. Ben Chui started his
sim racing from 2018 and joined various competitions. He participated in RS
Asia eRacing for two seasons.
GBA Sim Racing Grand Prix is an official event organized by Federation of Automobile and Motorcycle Sports of Guangdong, supported by CCTV and Melco International Development Limited, City of Dreams Macau. Zone races were finished in 9 cities, the 35 finalists together with 3 Macau drivers and 2 HK drivers will compete in the Final Round.
