Quotes from the drivers

Neale Muston: The weekend at Ningbo consisted of two separate practice, quali and 35min race events over two days. This format proved excellent and produced extremely close and competitive racing. The Ningbo circuit is tight and challenging, while rewarding smooth aggressive driving. The organising officials and drivers were great to deal and compete with. The cars were fabulous in their superhero livery. As a sprint round I cannot more highly recommend the FRD event as good value for money

Mitch Neilson: Coming into the weekend as a rookie and as my first LMP3 race I was slightly nervous but more excited than anything. James (Winslow) has been coaching me throughout last year and I have been learning so much each time I jump in the car and it’s great to see progress. Greg wheeler (My engineer) and the FRD Motorsport team were great all weekend making me feel comfortable and part of the team. To come away with a 1st and 2nd place in my first international race is amazing and had some great battles with Neale (muston). Ningbo international circuit is a great track to learn on because of it being so technical and challenging. Overall it was a fantastic weekend and great to meet so many good people, I hope to be back next year.

Grace Gui: LMP3 is the fastest car I’ve ever drived. This is my first time to drive a lmp3 car and also first time driving in Ningbo Circuit. I am happy that the lmp3 car is quite similar to the Formula car I’ve driven, so it’s easy to adapt. Although Ningbo circuit has a lot of corners which quite challenging, it’s still interesting and fun to drive here. Weather is also good on the weekend. James and Neale shared a lot of driving experience about lmp3 cars, which helped me improve a lot. Last but not the least, Ironman is my car, please call me Iron-woman.
